Tutorial Arcview: Merubah Tabel Koordinat Menjadi Peta
Tanya: Saya punya kumpulan koordinat yang saya buat menggunakan GPS. Ajarin dong cara merubah tabel koordinat tersebut menjadi peta di Arcview!
Jawab: Gampang! Tabel koordinat dalam format DBF bisa dirubah menjadi peta Arcview dengan beberapa langkah sederhana. Simak tahap-tahapnya berikut ini.
Tahap 1. Setelah kamu mengaktifkan Arcview, bukalah tabel koordinat yang kamu punya. Bila kumpulan koordinat tersebut belum kamu simpan dalam format tabel, berarti kamu musti mengentrinya terlebih dahulu. Gunakan Arcview atau Excel, terserah yang kamu suka.
Membuka tabel koordinat dilakukan dengan mengklik tombol add seperti di bawah ini. Pastikan ikon yang aktif adalah ikon tabel.
Tahap 2: Tabel koordinat sudah nongol di Arcview? Sip lah. Saatnya kamu mengklik perintah Add Event Theme yang ada di menu VIEW Arcview.
Tahap 3. Selanjutnya Arcview bakal menampilkan satu window baru. Pastikan kamu mengisi parameter di window tersebut dengan benar. Yang perlu kamu cek adalah kebenaran dari nama file tabel, nama field yang memuat informasi posisi koordinat X, dan nama field yang memuat posisi koordinat Y. Jangan kebalik ya.
Tahap 4. Sudah menekan tombol Okey? Bagus lah… Kalau proses ini berjalan dengan sukses, maka di dalam View Arcview bakal nongol peta digital seperti ini.

kalau mo bikin aplikasi GIS untuk daerah rawan kebakaran (yang saya maksud adalah rumah) bisa ga pke ArcView ?

Gimana caranya buat garis putus-putus di ArcView? Kok edit legend yang outline ga bisa?

@Milliati: Kalau “outline” berarti petanya dalam bentuk polygon ya?
Kalau pinginnya membuat garis putus-putus, berarti Anda musti merubah peta poligon menjadi peta garis dulu. Extention spt AV-plus atau X-tools bisa dipakai utk itu.. Gimana, mau nyoba?
